Dak Prescott Starts Book Club with Other NFL Quarterbacks

DALLAS—In a surprising pre-season twist, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has announced the formation of an NFL quarterbacks' book club. Dubbed "QB Reads," the club aims to combine intellectual stimulation with gridiron camaraderie.

"Reading sharpens the mind and broadens our horizons," Prescott explained, adjusting his glasses that he doesn't need and wears purely for aesthetic purposes.

The inaugural selection, "Bossy Pants," by Tina Fey was met with mixed reactions. Patrick Mahomes admitted, "I was hoping for something with more gravitas.'" Meanwhile, even though he wasn’t included in the book club for current QBs, Tom Brady suggested his own book, The TB12 Method, which promotes his latest avocado ice cream recipe.

Club meetings are scheduled every Wednesday via Zoom, and members must dress in their team's jerseys. So far, Aaron Rodgers is the only member to read beyond the first chapter, while Joe Burrow uses the time primarily to socialize.

Prescott remains optimistic, "No one expects me to win a Super Bowl, but at least I can engage in stimulating discussions and gain different perspectives on the same book my peers are reading."
