Zeek Re-Signed with Cowboys, But Still Wants to Play for Hometown St. Louis Rams

Zeke re-signed with the Cowboys in April, but recently revealed a heartfelt desire to one day play for his "hometown team," the St. Louis Rams.

The 2012 St. Louis Post-Dispatch Offensive Player of the year, later drafted by the Cowboys in 2016—the same year the Rams moved to Los Angeles—seems blissfully unaware of the franchise's relocation.

"I've always dreamed of bringing a Super Bowl to St. Louis," Elliott stated earnestly, as reporters stifled laughter. The running back, known for his powerful runs and first down celebrations, apparently missed the memo about the Rams' “new” Hollywood digs.

Sources close to Elliott say he's been eagerly checking flights to St. Louis and is confused why no one has invited him to a game when he visits his parents during the Cowboys bye week.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are just happy to have him back, while no teammate has the heart to crush his dreams of playing alongside Kurt Warner and the greatest show on turf.
