Jerry Jones' Grandson Awarded Football Scholarship; Family adjusts household budget

DALLAS—In a shocking turn of events, Jerry Jones' grandson has been awarded a much-needed college football scholarship for another year at Jerry’s alma mater, the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Despite the windfall, the family is still concerned about how to make room in their budget to pay for textbooks.

"It's a humbling experience for us all. The savings on what would have been out of state tuition are significant," remarked Jones, adjusting his solid gold cowboy hat.

Sources close to the family revealed that while the scholarship covers tuition, the Jones family still struggles with financial decisions and has trouble finding space in their mansion-sized vaults for their ever-growing collection of football trophies.

"We've had to make some tough decisions, like converting our tennis courts into storage for championship rings," Jones lamented, while gazing wistfully at his newest private jet large enough to house his personalized miniature golf course.

Despite these challenges, Jones remains optimistic, stating that his grandson's success on the field proves that hard work and the numerous multimillion dollar donations to the university can lead to a much needed scholarship.
